Why BoltBurz asks for notification permission

BoltBurz uses macOS notifications to confirm when keep-awake mode starts, stops, or returns your Mac to normal sleep behavior.

Article content

BoltBurz requests macOS notification permission so it can confirm important state changes.

When keep-awake mode starts, BoltBurz shows a notification with the selected duration. When the app is disabled, it confirms that your Mac can sleep normally again.

Notifications are informational only. BoltBurz does not need an account, cloud service, or remote server to keep your Mac awake.

You can manage notification behavior in macOS System Settings under Notifications.
